SPER Publications adheres to the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics [COPE]. As per these guidelines, failure to adhere to the above conditions will result in the editor-in-chief and SPER publishing an appropriate correction, a statement of retraction, or enacting a withdrawal of the article. In extreme cases, offending authors may be banned from submitting to SPER Publications journals in the future, or reported to their institution’s ethics committee.
